Another One: Second Mueller Attorney Let Go After Anti-Trump Texts Discovered ~ CILLIAN ZEAL (westernjournal.com)

Good morning fellow Seekers,

Who’d a thunk (sarcasm intended)? With everything that has come to light since the release of the IG report. It’s time to halt the witch hunt and the real criminals the justice they deserve.

Here’s more from Cillian Zeal and Western Journal…

Who would have suspected that Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation was riddled with anti-Trump, pro-Democrat bias?

I mean, all he did was hire a bunch of prominent Hillary Clinton donors and had to have one of his top investigators removed, which was after they discovered he was sending anti-Trump text messages to an FBI lawyer who was alleged to be his lover (and also briefly worked for Mueller’s investigation)? There sounds like scant reason for suspicion there.

So, imagine my shock when I discovered that yet another attorney for Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation has been let go after inappropriate text messages, which showed that they were planning to resist the Trump administration from within the confines of the FBI.

According to The Daily Caller, the lawyer had worked on the Hillary Clinton email investigation (another surprise) and got promoted to Robert Mueller’s special counsel in May of 2017 (the hits just keep on coming) but was let go in February of this year when some of his messages were discovered (which is actually legitimately surprising, given how this whole thing has gone).

What kind of messages, you might ask? Well, take a look at those that were contained in Thursday’s IG’s report, which identified the lawyer simply as “FBI Attorney 2.”

Shortly after the FBI announced they were reopening the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email on Oct. 28, 2016, Attorney 2 sent out several messages which seemed to reference the event. “I mean, I never really liked the Republic anyway,” one read. “As I have initiated the destruction of the republic … Would you be so kind as to have a coffee with me this afternoon?” read another. “I’m clinging to small pockets of happiness in the dark time of the Republic’s destruction,” another said.

According to the report, Attorney 2 brushed those off by having “described these messages as reflecting his surprise and frustration that the FBI ‘was essentially walking into a landmine in terms of injecting itself (into the election) at that late in the process.’”

In another conversation with an employee — who may themselves be in trouble after the IG report, considering they called Trump voters “all poor to middle class, uneducated, lazy POS that think he will magically grant them jobs for doing nothing” — Attorney 2 also went off on pretty much everything Trump related — the president, Obama’s legacy, Trump’s supporters, Mike Pence. In other words, what they saw as the full catastrophe.

“I just can’t imagine the systematic disassembly of the progress we made over the last 8 years,” they wrote. “ACA is gone. Who knows if the rhetoric about deporting people, walls, and crap is true. I honestly feel like there is going to be a lot more gun issues, too, the crazies won finally. This is the tea party on steroids. And the GOP is going to be lost, they have to deal with an incumbent in 4 years. We have to fight this again. Also Pence is stupid.”

The conversation has mostly to do with the FBI’s role in the election, if any. Note the tone, where the attorney seems to believe that they ought to be acting as a partisan arm of the Democrats.

Surely that’s just taking things out of context, though — right? After all, Attorney 2 brushed this off as two people “discussing our personal feelings on” the outcome of the election. That must be it, right?

Not so much. The smoking gun, inasmuch as anything could be considered a smoking gun, came just a few weeks after the election.

“The third exchange we identified was on November 22, 2016,” the IG report read. “FBI Attorney 2 sent an instant message to FBI Attorney 1 commenting on the amount of money the subject of an FBI investigation had been paid while working on the Trump campaign. FBI Attorney 1 responded, ‘Is it making you rethink your commitment to the Trump administration?’ FBI Attorney 2 replied, ‘Hell no.’ and then added, ‘Viva le resistance.’”

And so they continued, a vaunted member of La Résistance Nouvelle until the moment Robert Mueller saw those messages and was given an Insta-migraine. The special counsel’s office issued a statement saying that “FBI Attorney 2 did not work for the Special Counsel’s Office as a prosecutor or as an investigator,” although little other info was given.

Perhaps he’s occupying a cubicle in HR just adjacent to Peter Strzok’s. That irony seems a bit too perfect, but a man can always dream.
